When the Clicgear Rovic RV3J was introduced in early 2015, it was an instant worldwide success. So much so that it took Clicgear several months to finally catch up with the demand for this cart. The reason is that until now, it was impossible to find a truly good quality golf cart for junior golfers. They were all scaled down versions of the cheap, rickety, pull carts you would rent for $2 at your local goat ranch golf course.
Clicgear under their Rovic brand changed all of that when they introduced the RV3J. Finally junior golfers got the respect the deserve by having a golf cart that had the quality, reliability, ease of use, and design of a top-of-the-line cart. The Rovic has all of the great quality and design features you find in the full size line of Cligear carts. Robust and resilient components, sturdy but light aircraft aluminum frame, and quality construction all backed by a 3 year frame warranty. One of the unique features of the RV3J is the “fold on bag” design that makes it easy to deploy and put way. Just fold the RV3J and leave the bag on! It is ready to go for the next round. It includes a ball holder, storage console, and umbrella holder as well has 3 accessory tabs that fit dozens of different Clicgear and Rovic accessories. Simply stated, the Rovic RV3J is not the CHEAPEST junior golf cart, but we believe it is the best VALUE!
The movement to have juniors use carts in their tournaments is growing quickly. More studies are showing that carrying a golf bag is VERY detrimental to back and neck health. Even at the NCAA level, golf carts are becoming common as golfers realize that lugging around 30 lbs awkwardly on their shoulders for 6 miles is NOT good. I hear a lot of “toughen them up” talk when parents and coaches think it is good for them to carry a bag…. toughen them up for what? Show me a tour player on any level that carries their bag. Should they walk when golfing? Absolutely. Carry a bag? Stupid. If your junior golfer is still carrying a bag, consider changing. Their back and neck will thank you in years to come.
